The deadline for submissions for this year’s St Andrews Prize for the Environment is drawing ever closer. We have received a phenomenal response so far, but there is still time to submit your entry for this year. Previous finalists have seen huge success arise out of being shortlisted for the Prize, one in particular being 2016 finalist, the Mamirauá Institute.

Blue Ventures has had an exciting journey since winning the St Andrews Prize back in 2014. Not only has the Prize money greatly assisted Blue Ventures in their work, the Prize also provided a valuable step to other opportunities.

Two years ago, Primatologist and Founder of the Wild Chimpanzee Foundation (WCF), Christophe Boesch, presented his multi-level chimpanzee conservation project to the St Andrews Prize judging committee, going on to win the prestigious Prize.

We were delighted to speak to Ani Vallabhaneni recently, co-founder of Sanergy Limited, who were finalists back in 2012.
